Reading...The Building
Blocks of every child's future!
Parents or grandparents or babysitters who bring youngsters to Storytime can enjoy a cup of coffee and a visit, while a dedicated library volunteer reads to the children! After stories and a snack, the children enjoy choosing books and videos to take home for more reading pleasure!
This is a great opportunity for children in the elementary grades to explore a variety of new topics, to participate in crafts relating to each topic, and to learn to use library resources. Children who sign up for the Reading Program will keep a record of their summertime reading, and will be eligible for book draws and other prizes! Kids - don't miss out on this exciting opportunity!
