2008 Preschool Storytime

Storytime for Preschoolers is held every 

Thursday morning at 10:45 am.- 11:45 am

      Reading...The Building Blocks of every child's future!

Parents or grandparents or babysitters who bring youngsters to Storytime can enjoy a cup of coffee and a visit, while a dedicated library volunteer reads to the children!  After stories and a snack, the children enjoy choosing books and videos to take home for more reading pleasure!


                        Summer Reading Program

This is a great opportunity for children in the elementary grades to explore a variety of new topics, to participate in crafts relating to each topic, and to learn to use library resources.  Children who sign up for the Reading Program will keep a record of their summertime reading, and will be eligible for book draws and other prizes!  Kids - don't miss out on this exciting opportunity!

For children grades K to 6 

Tuesdays 10:30 am ~ 12:30 pm

Fridays 1:30 pm ~ 3:30 pm

Our 2008 Theme is "Laugh Out Loud (LOL)"

   DATE:    Saturday, September 20, 2008

   TIME:    Two sittings - 5:00pm OR 6:30pm

   PLACE:    Lac du Bonnet Legion Hall

   TICKETS:  On sale starting August 11, 2007 at: The Library & Ingham's Pharmacy.    

                Adults:    $12.00

                Children:  $6.00    (Ages 12 & under)    

The menu includes traditional roast turkey with dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce and fresh vegetables.  Side dishes include homemade meatballs, cabbage rolls, coleslaw, buns and pickles.  Top this off, if you can, with a slice of delicious homemade pie!  Beverages include tea, coffee or juice.

        Reserved seating is available for groups of  6 or more!
